About Us
Learn about Maple Shade Youth Basketball and our mission to grow the game in our community.
Who We Are
Maple Shade Youth Basketball is a non profit coed youth recreation basketball league for boys and girls in grades K through 12 located in Maple Shade, NJ.
Our goal is simple: give every kid in the community a chance to play, learn, and love the game of basketball in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
We welcome all skill levels — from first-timers picking up a ball for the first time to experienced players looking to sharpen their game. You don't have to be a Maple Shade resident to join us.
Love The Game
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of basketball.
Community First
We are a community-run, nonprofit organization powered by volunteers and dedicated coaches.
Safe & Inclusive
All coaches and assistants are background checked. Every child is welcomed regardless of skill level.
Flexible Signup
We take signups even after the season starts — it's never too late to join the league.
The Season
The season typically runs from December through February, with the possibility of extending into March. Games are held 1 or 2 weeknights per week at a Maple Shade grade school.
The season fee is $40 per child ($20 per child for additional children in the same family). This covers your child's participation, jersey, and all game nights for the season.
